NORTHERN MINNESOTA SWISS STEAK -
4 Venison Round Steaks.
Sprinkle with Salt and Pepper to taste. Pound
steaks in a 50/50 mixture of Corn Meal and Flour seasoned with salt and pepper
to taste.
Brown in a hot skillet a couple tablespoons of Butter or a mix of Butter and
Bacon fat. Brown both sides well.
Reduce heat and add a sliced Onion and Green Pepper. Add a can of Tomato soup
with 1/2 can of water. Let simmer about 1 hour or more, until tender, checking
occasionally to see that the meat is not sticking to the pan.
